Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Test Engineer to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our government-contractor team, you will be responsible for planning and executing tests of full-scale naval platforms and test articles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including test schedules, task breakdowns, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and acquire specialized sensors, instrumentation, and equipment necessary for structural testing.
  • Support test execution, including instrumentation installation, real-time data acquisition, and operational test support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test objectives are met and results are accurately documented.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in test planning and execution, with a focus on structural testing.
  • Proven expertise in test planning, coordination, execution support, instrumentation support, and documentation.
  • Experience with naval platform shock and deep submergence testing is highly desirable.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
