Position Overview


As a
Structural Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on the assessment and validation of full-scale naval systems and associated test components.

This role is a full-time, onsite opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, including design preparation and coordination of testing activities for full ship evaluations.
  • Oversee the creation of test schedules, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met, while also estimating costs and identifying necessary resources such as equipment and skilled personnel.
  • Conduct site surveys and select specialized sensors and instrumentation required for effective structural testing.
  • Provide support during test execution, including the installation of instrumentation, real-time data acquisition, and operational test assistance.

Qualifications:


A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Test Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural test planning and execution.

A solid foundation in structural test coordination, execution support, and documentation is essential. Experience with naval platform shock testing and deep submergence assessments is advantageous.
