This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Naval Air Systems Command direct hire authority.

Key Responsibilities- Filing, maintaining, and searching systems which include not only correspondence but also directives, manuals, publications and similar material.
- Conducting follow-up actions to assure the receipt of timely responses to established requirements in accordance with suspense dates.
- Assisting staff members on individual projects with assembling data, consolidating and preparing reports.
- Typing or preparing travel requests, advances, and vouchers.
Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-04:
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-03 grade level or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Filing, maintaining, and searching file systems which include not only correspondence but also directives, manuals, publications and similar material.
- Assembling data, consolidating and preparing reports.
- Opening and reviewing incoming mail and prepares incoming/outgoing mail.
FOR GS-05:
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Completing a variety of administrative processes in support of the work unit.
- Processing moderately complex administrative documents by researching and applying instructions, policies or procedures of the specialty area.
- Maintaining time and attendance records, typing and/or preparing travel requests, advances and vouchers; requisitioning office supplies, equipment, and publications.
FOR GS-06:
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Processing a wide variety of complex transactions for more than one type of assigned activity or functional specialization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of rules, regulations, and other guidelines relating to completing assignments in the program area assigned.
- Implementing a variety of administrative processes in support of the work unit.
Successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite is creditable at grades GS-3 through GS-5 for all positions except Reporting Stenographer, GS-5.
This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

Miscellaneous Clerk and Assistant Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-04 level: 2 years above high school The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-05 level: 4 years above high school Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
