Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities and Reliability Manager to oversee and manage all maintenance activities related to the production and operation of our plant. This includes ensuring the proper functioning and availability of equipment, machinery, and utilities to support the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, conducting regular inspections and assessments of equipment performance.
  • Lead, manage, and support the maintenance work orders and daily repairs for multiple locations, ensuring repairs are completed in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensure all safety, health, and machine management issues are handled with high priority and in compliance with all OSHA guidelines.
  • Manage, supervise, and oversee vendors and contractors to ensure efficient repairs that meet Timken standards.
  • Responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training as needed, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments within the plant.
  • Respond to emergency work orders, repairs, phone calls, and emails.
  • Develop and manage a daily/weekly work schedule to minimize the impact and downtime on equipment and operations.

  • Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation
  • Ability to make fact-based recommendations for technical applications
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Desire to work in a manufacturing facility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad familiarity with manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles or other Continuous Improvement programs
  • 3 years of project management experience managing multiple projects
