Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Technician to join our team at Nandail Property Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC Repairs: Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Mechanical Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that mechanical equipment is in good working order and perform repairs as necessary.
  • General Building Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain buildings, including floors, stairs, and piping.
  • Installation and Repair: Install and replace floors, stairs, and piping as needed, and repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs, and other building components.
  • Waste Management: Maintain and repair trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.
  • Heating and Cooling Systems: Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
  • Transportation and Tools: Must have reliable transportation and a set of basic tools.
  • Math and Communication Skills: Possess basic math skills and good communication ability.
  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Be well-organized and able to solve problems effectively, with attention to detail.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and proven experience as a handyman or facilities technician.
  • Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • Lifting Ability: Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation.
