Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computational tools to conduct CFD analysis for gas turbine components and turbomachinery.
  • Prepare geometry and mesh for simulations.
  • Set up models and perform analyses.
  • Post-process results and create high-quality presentations.
  • Document all work in accordance with client specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver reports during formal technical reviews.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Engineering Analysis; Aero-Thermal experience is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with ANSYS Fluent or CFX.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Aero Engines is highly desirable.
  • Capability to obtain a security clearance may be required for future tasks.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional involvement on the shop floor.
  • Significant amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Work in heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to protocols.
  • Flexibility to accommodate business deadlines, including potential early starts or late finishes.
  • Standard work hours are typically 8 hours per day, with core hours from 9 AM to 4 PM.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as necessary.
  • All candidates must be U.S. Citizens due to the nature of the work.

Compensation:

The full compensation package will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Pay Range:

$67,000 - $75,000 USD
