Position Overview:
As a Lead Financial Strategist, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Business Insights to gather and analyze data from various sectors, particularly within food and logistics. Your role will involve aligning this data with internal systems to generate insights that enhance comprehension and foster improvements.

Team Collaboration:
As an integral member of the Finance team, you will also contribute significantly to the Commercial (Sales & Marketing) team and work in partnership with the Operations team. This position offers the chance to cultivate relationships across the global organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and nurture relationships built on trust and respect with operational leaders at all levels.
2. Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Business Insights to drive impactful results.
3. Play a pivotal role in designing, collecting, and developing monthly and quarterly intelligence reporting processes.
4. Analyze financial data to drive results, including identifying key trends, conducting variance analysis, and creating financial models for decision-making support.
5. Manage account and contact databases to track commercial funnel activity and provide recommendations on priority audiences.
6. Assist in the annual multi-year strategic planning and business planning processes for the portfolio, including year-over-year analysis of Site, Region, and Area level Profit & Loss statements.
7. Support monthly regional reporting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and explanations.
8. Enhance productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
9. Conduct market research, data mining, and ad-hoc business intelligence projects.
10. Assist with merger and acquisition analysis and integration as required.
11. Review and influence capital expenditure plans through business case, payback, and profitability analysis.
12. Conduct customer-level business case and profitability analysis as necessary.
13. Drive comprehensive business analysis and understand key performance indicators, including non-financial metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong analytical capabilities (both qualitative and quantitative).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage both routine and ad-hoc requests independently.
- Effective verbal and digital communication skills.
- Ability to capture intricate details while maintaining a broader perspective.
- Flexibility to participate in meetings outside of standard business hours is essential.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Account Engagement (Pardot), or similar CRM and digital systems is advantageous.
- Experience in database setup and management is a plus.
- Exposure to analytics in the food industry and category management data, such as NielsenIQ Homescan or similar systems, is beneficial.
- Experience in multinational market business and various business models is a plus.
