Job Summary:

  • Manage front office operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and inventory control.
  • Train and develop front desk staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent guest service.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback and comments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase occupancy levels and revenues.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and quality assurance programs.
  • Manage and maintain front office systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Track and analyze guest satisfaction surveys and maximize usage of the guest response tracking system.
  • Interview, hire, train, develop, and discipline staff members as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of performance appraisals and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the sales team to discuss and implement sales strategies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk leadership role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Proficient in PMS systems and computer literacy.
  • Advanced knowledge of brand's reward program.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move around the hotel.

Working Conditions:
