Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Control Manager to join our team at Corporate Flight Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and administration of Maintenance Control, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: The Maintenance Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that safety and compliance are the top priorities in all aircraft operations.
  • Monitor Maintenance Performance: The candidate will monitor the maintenance performance of all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Flight Operations: The Maintenance Control Manager will coordinate with Flight Operations to ensure that all maintenance irregularities are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administer MEL/CDL/NEF Procedures: The candidate will be responsible for the proper administration of MEL/CDL/NEF procedures, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Maintenance Controllers: The Maintenance Control Manager will provide leadership and training to Maintenance Controllers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor Staffing Levels: The candidate will monitor staffing levels within Maintenance Control to ensure that 24/7 coverage of the operation is maintained.
  • Authorize Ferry Flights and MEL Extensions: The Maintenance Control Manager will be responsible for authorizing ferry flights and MEL extensions, ensuring that all necessary safety and compliance procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Age: The candidate must be at least 23 years of age.
  • Mechanic's Certificate: The Maintenance Control Manager must hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Experience: The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a position responsible for returning aircraft to service, with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge: The Maintenance Control Manager must have a detailed knowledge of aircraft, manuals, maintenance programs, and procedures, as well as extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations as they relate to aircraft maintenance.
  • Computer Skills: The candidate must be proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, and have a detailed working knowledge of Quantum, FOS, and CAMP software.
  • Background Checks: The Maintenance Control Manager must be able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • DOT and FAA Requirements: The candidate must be able to pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to and pass FAA and company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Authorization to Work: The Maintenance Control Manager must be authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country.
  • Driver's License: The candidate must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The Maintenance Control Manager must possess polished and professional interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Leadership Skills: The candidate must have strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate others and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: The Maintenance Control Manager must maintain strong attention to detail and be able to accomplish duties in a manner that adheres to regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, state, local, and federal regulations.
