Emergency Department OverviewOur 10-bed general emergency department serves the Nogales, AZ, and surrounding communities. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & CPI certifications within 90 days.
