Position Overview:

The Bartender/Beertender plays a crucial role in ensuring positive interactions with guests by skillfully mixing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. Adherence to Pennsylvania's RAMP standards is essential for all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare standard mixed drinks and specialty cocktails, along with serving canned beer and wine.
  • Possess knowledge of specialty cocktail programs, ensuring adherence to proper recipes and serving vessels.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with various types and varieties of beer and wine available.
  • Assist the Stand Lead with the setup and breakdown of the bar before and after events.
  • Ensure proper display of products and promote additional sales opportunities with each transaction.
  • Verify identification for all alcoholic beverage transactions and serve patrons responsibly in compliance with Pennsylvania's RAMP standards.
  • Maintain a fully equipped bar area with necessary tools and products for beverage preparation, communicating inventory needs to the Stand Lead.
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety in the work area while completing additional duties as assigned by the Stand Lead.
  • Exhibit flexibility by rotating to other service locations as needed, including bartending roles.
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as directed by Management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English for effective communication with staff and guests.
  • Availability to work all venue events with a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an open-air environment under varying climate conditions.
  • Dependable and punctual with a commitment to personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in line with company standards.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks involving constant standing, reaching, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations preferred.
  • Effective listening skills and ability to follow management directions.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcoholic beverage service.
Licenses & Certifications:

Required: RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring if necessary).

Practice safe work habits, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and complete company-wide safety training as well as any additional job-specific safety training.
