About You:

About the Role:
The successful Mixologist will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, earning positive feedback from supervisors and colleagues, and executing their responsibilities efficiently. Performance metrics will include assessment of drink preparation times, guest satisfaction surveys, and management reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding hospitality to guests and team members as outlined in Our Service System (OSS).
- Precisely adhere to beverage recipes; possess comprehensive knowledge of all drink options and pricing.
- Provide timely and consistent bar service to patrons and staff throughout the cruise.
- Prepare and dismantle the bar area - stock and replenish supplies according to established standards, and maintain cleanliness in accordance with operational protocols.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the bar and all shared spaces, including washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Accurately process guest charges for onboard purchases; input orders into the point-of-sale system, handle payments, and return change.
- Inform guests about beverage and food selections, entertainment options, cruise routes, and points of interest.
- Be ready to commence work at the scheduled time.
- Maintain uniform and personal grooming standards as per appearance guidelines.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor on duty.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- A minimum of one (1) year of bartending experience is necessary.
- An enthusiastic and lively personality is essential.
- Ability to effectively communicate written and verbal information to guests and colleagues.
- Thorough knowledge of beverage recipes is required.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- A service-oriented mindset is crucial - actively seeking ways to assist others.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods without sitting.
- Ability to lift heavy items such as liquor boxes and ice bins, including navigating stairs.
- Responsible for cash handling and bar till management.
- Availability to work on major holidays is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
