LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operations Manager to oversee our clients' manufacturing operations. The Technical Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all technical aspects of the production process are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day technical operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless execution of production processes.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes to ensure consistency and quality, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Monitor production lines to identify and address any technical issues or deviations from standards, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency, leveraging expertise to drive business growth.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, maintaining a culture of excellence.
  • Train and mentor production staff on technical processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform equipment maintenance and repairs as needed, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to support production schedules, optimizing supply chain efficiency.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction, driving business results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, procurement, and logistics, to meet production goals and customer requirements, ensuring seamless collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on technical operations and supervision, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of processing equipment, technologies, and safety standards, with a proven track record of implementing best practices.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and HACCP principles, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions, driving business outcomes.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities, including coaching and development, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in technical processes, maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively, driving business results.
