Job Summary:

ResourceMFG is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of equipment that blends, mixes, extrudes, packages, and transports liquid or dry chemicals that comprise our customer products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and start all machines, checking all controls for adherence to procedures.
  • Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and insert them into machinery.
  • Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
  • Operate machinery to mix, discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
  • Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
  • May take samples of materials to the lab for evaluations and instructions.
  • Refer issues/problems to the lead/supervisor for disposition.
  • Perform all required machine cleaning.
  • Complete and maintain all required computer inputs. Responsible for data integrity.
  • Document work completed as required, including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
  • Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all rules, laws, and procedures related to HS&E, ISO, and other regulations.

Requirements:

  • US High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Manufacturing machine operation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with polymer process experience (extrusion, injection molding, milling) or lead operator or shift leader experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand 12 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Diploma or GED required.
