Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring that production standards are met and efficiency is maximized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership to assigned staff, reviewing their work to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Quality Control: Ensure components are properly aligned and meet specifications, and validate that equipment adheres to tolerances.
  • Process Improvement: Assess and recommend improvements to methods and procedures within the assigned area.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the liaison with other departments, preparing reports related to your area of responsibility.
  • Talent Management: Conduct interviews and recommend candidates for new hires.
  • Operational Planning: Plan and manage day-to-day departmental operations, including scheduling planned maintenance.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with Production, Supplies Scheduling, Sales, and Engineering departments to achieve production goals and standards.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete tasks as directed by supervisors and maintain effective relationships within the department, the Corporation, and the community.
  • Quality Management: Maintain control over quality-related activities and adhere to ISO/TS16949:2002 requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Extensive background in manufacturing technology and line operations.
  • Production Administration: Thorough understanding of production administration, including accounting, engineering, and human resources.
  • Business and Communication Skills: Strong business and communication skills, typically gained through a bachelor's degree.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Production Leader role.
