Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Bluewater Hayes Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advanced automation troubleshooting, gage and instrumentation calibration, machine programming, and opportunities to work with PLC's and problem diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Maintenance teams to monitor equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments on production equipment.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Work with robotic programming and PLC's to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and trust within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in automated manufacturing, preferably in metals manufacturing (machining, welding, heat treating, coating, etc.).
  • Robotic programming experience, preferably with Fanuc.
  • High-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment preferred.
