Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Research Scientist to join our team at the Georgia Cancer Center. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating, designing, and carrying out cancer research projects while following standard operating procedures for the laboratory.

Responsibilities
  • Lead responsibility for entire research projects or programs, overseeing the preparation of complete documentation of research activities for reference purposes, including following applicable data management protocols.
  • Ensure the appropriate analysis, interpretation, and documentation of research findings, as well as the preparation of scientific documents and manuscripts for publication.
  • Plan and supervise the training of new lab members in terms of proper laboratory techniques, the use of laboratory equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent.
