About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Investigator to lead our cancer research team at the Georgia Cancer Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative research strategies to advance our understanding of cancer and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead research projects to investigate the causes and mechanisms of cancer
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to design and implement clinical trials
- Recruit and supervise research staff, including postdoctoral fellows and graduate students
- Secure funding for research projects through grants and other sources
- Present research findings at national and international conferences
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field, such as biology, chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a research setting
- Strong publication record in high-impact journals
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
