Role Summary:
As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier patient care within our advanced imaging facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to capture high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct MRI examinations utilizing GE equipment while adhering to the highest safety standards.
2. Maintain and properly store imaging equipment.
3. Educate patients about the MRI process and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited radiologic program with certification in MR (ARRT).
- A valid NY State License and, preferably, a NY State DOH IV injection license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI scanning, with a preference for familiarity with GE and Siemens scanners.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, along with flexibility in working hours.
Additional Information:
This position is classified as Per-Diem, with an hourly pay range of USD $65.00. HSS is committed to providing a dynamic work environment that encourages professional development and excellence in patient care.
