Overview:
Navan Group is in the process of establishing a premier fraud risk management division to enhance our expanding travel and expense management services.

We are seeking a seasoned expert in fraud risk management who will expedite the enhancement of our fraud detection, prevention, and investigative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our existing fraud risk management systems, policies, and procedures.
2. Establish and oversee operational protocols to swiftly and thoroughly investigate fraudulent activities.
3. Provide continuous analysis of vulnerabilities, control deficiencies, and gaps to address and mitigate significant risk issues, trends, and loss occurrences.
4. Collaborate with key professionals and organizations in the fintech and financial sectors to cultivate thought leadership in fraud prevention and detection.
5. Identify third-party tools and services that can enhance our current controls.
6. Develop a robust fraud risk management framework for Navan's Travel and Expense products, including key performance indicators for tracking and reporting to stakeholders.
7. Drive fraud analytics across various customer segments, delivering actionable insights for risk strategies that identify connections and reduce fraud patterns.
8. Leverage cross-functional teams, systems, and processes as necessary to prioritize and proactively address risk management enhancement needs.
9. Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, effectively prioritize work, and excel in a dynamic environment.
10. Formulate a chargeback management strategy for Navan's card issuing and travel operations.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in fraud risk management within commercial card issuers or travel organizations.
2. Extensive knowledge of the fraud landscape, including identity and payment fraud methodologies, as well as prevention, detection, and operational processes.
3. Practical experience in the creation and execution of fraud management strategies within commercial card issuers, payment networks, or related sectors.
4. Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in business intelligence tools to transform complex data into actionable insights.
5. Advanced skills in SQL/Python for problem-solving and developing sophisticated scripts with minimal oversight.
6. Proven ability to establish and lead fraud investigation, incident response, and data-driven analysis at scale.
7. Capacity to enhance operational efficiencies and scalability through process improvements, automation, and staff development.

Work Environment:
This position requires the candidate to work in a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Compensation:
Salary range: $120,000 — $210,000 USD
