North Mississippi Health Services is currently seeking a per diem Ultrasound Technologist for a flexible position.

Job Overview:
This role involves performing high-quality and cost-effective diagnostic imaging procedures. The Ultrasound Technologist will collaborate with physicians and medical personnel during examinations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
3. Attend mandatory training sessions, annual evaluations, and educational workshops.
4. Maintain knowledge of procedures, equipment, and supplies used in ultrasound examinations.
5. Stay updated on advancements in radiological practices.
6. Follow all policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by the organization.
7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Organize workflow to minimize delays and manage supply costs effectively.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
- Ability to work autonomously while ensuring quality standards.
- Registered with ARDMS or AIUM.
- ARRT registration is preferred.
- Mississippi MRT licensure is preferred.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience with diverse patient populations, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
