Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Decatur, IL. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers through phone, email, and other communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective resolution to customer inquiries and complaints
  • Use good business judgment to handle non-standard situations
  • Participate in ongoing training activities to learn customer service policies and procedures
  • Influence others with a positive attitude and focus on teamwork and cooperation
  • Secure necessary information/documentation from customers
  • Explain company policies and procedures to customers
  • Arrange satisfactory payment transactions
  • Advise customers of company programs
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations

Qualifications

A High School diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred. Excellent math and computer skills are required. Having customer service experience in banking, telephone, collections, insurance, or other related areas is preferred. Previous call center experience is strongly preferred.
