Your Role

The Compliance Engineer will report directly to the Information Security Manager, collaborating with the security team, departmental leaders, directors, and compliance auditors to uphold and enhance our compliance initiatives, with a primary focus on data protection and security.

In this capacity, you will ensure that our products and processes comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.

Your Contributions

  • Guarantee adherence to regulatory and internal standards by effectively implementing and overseeing compliance processes.
  • Deliver actionable insights that foster process enhancements, ensuring alignment with compliance strategies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and management of compliance controls to support smooth audits and risk evaluations.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and security throughout the organization.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of audits, ensuring the organization is consistently ready for both internal and external assessments.
  • Enhance the overall security and integrity of the company’s data protection initiatives, ensuring our products and environments meet the highest standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with security, cloud, and IT compliance processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at analyzing complex information and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in managing and conducting internal and external audits.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficient in documenting and reviewing compliance controls.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of PCI-DSS standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with SOC2, NIST, and ISO frameworks.
  • Familiarity with compliance automation platforms like Drata.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be remote-first, allowing flexibility in your work location while maintaining Central Time Zone business hours.
