Role Responsibilities
The Compliance Engineer will report directly to the Information Security Manager and collaborate with the security team, department heads, and compliance auditors to uphold and enhance our compliance initiatives, with a strong emphasis on data protection and security.
In this position, you will ensure that our products and processes comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
Your Contributions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards by effectively implementing and monitoring compliance processes.
- Provide actionable insights that promote process enhancements, ensuring alignment with compliance strategies.
- Maintain thorough documentation and management of compliance controls to support smooth audits and risk assessments.
- Engage with various stakeholders to cultivate a culture of compliance and security across the organization.
- Lead the preparation and execution of audits, ensuring the organization is consistently ready for both internal and external evaluations.
- Contribute to the overall security and integrity of the company's data protection initiatives, ensuring our products and environments meet the highest standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in security, cloud, and IT compliance processes.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for analyzing complex information and providing recommendations.
- Experience in managing and conducting internal and external audits.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in documenting and reviewing compliance controls.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of PCI-DSS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
- Extensive knowledge and experience with SOC2, NIST, and ISO frameworks.
- Familiarity with compliance automation platforms.
