Job Summary

InterDent Service Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our clinics with insurance-related issues, including insurance payment research, insurance balances account analysis, insurance benefits research, work queue follow-up, and general claim processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up with insurance companies and patients to ensure payment on claims
  • Work the CBO Work Queue related to claims not yet paid
  • Run claim form type in QSI
  • Troubleshoot and process ECS rejections daily to ensure 100% acceptance by insurance companies
  • Review and resolve missing payments requests from the clinics for their region(s)
  • Answer questions from the clinics regarding any of the above
  • Research patient accounts for opportunities to collect back balances when needed
  • Assign accounts to the collection agency when needed
Requirements
  • Experience with dental billing and insurance claims is required
  • Thorough understanding of dental billing practices and procedures, including knowledge of state, local and federal laws
  • Strong knowledge of reimbursement rules and methodologies for billing
  • Able to communicate billing discrepancies and questions
  • Fluent in Excel, Word, Outlook, typing (50+ WPM) and number entry accuracy
  • Must maintain confidentiality of all records
  • Experience with QSI software a plus
