Legend Biotech is currently seeking a Senior Clinical Educator in Cell Therapy - Southeast to join our Commercial team within the designated territory.

Position Summary

The Senior Clinical Educator in Cell Therapy will serve as a field-based commercial representative responsible for delivering information, education, and resources regarding Legend's cell therapy products to advanced practice providers (APPs) and nursing professionals involved in patient care related to cell therapy. This role will focus on enhancing disease understanding, coordinating staff training to ensure proper administration, and educating on the identification and management of potential adverse effects. This position collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to provide compliant education to the target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate peer-to-peer educational initiatives through in-person and virtual presentations for APPs and nursing staff;

• Engage with identified healthcare providers in each participating practice or facility to promote and enroll them in educational offerings;

• Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from both internal and external stakeholders;

• Collaborate effectively with commercial team members on various cross-functional projects and regional initiatives to align with company objectives;

• Conduct in-services and educational sessions at relevant professional society gatherings;

• Utilize essential resources to support account planning in alignment with regional and corporate goals;

• Cultivate relationships with key nursing opinion leaders;

• Identify and adapt to changes and emerging trends within accounts to implement alternative strategies for achieving objectives;

• Provide consistent follow-up to accurately assess and address educational needs within practices;

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of clinical and technical knowledge pertaining to products and disease management;

• Ensure precise and clear communication of program information using appropriate medical terminology, adhering to approved materials and guidelines;

• Uphold the highest professional standards in all interactions with customers and business contacts;

• Exercise sound judgment in the utilization of time and resources;

• Represent Legend Biotech at national and local conventions;

• Perform additional tasks as assigned within the scope of practice.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a health science discipline (e.g., RN, NP, PA, etc.)
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in nursing or 5 years in Oncology
  • Clinical Experience: Required experience in immune effector cell therapy or bone marrow transplant (if no prior in-house industry experience)
  • Professional Involvement: Membership in ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) preferred
  • Industry Experience: Previous in-house industry sales or clinical educator experience is desirable
  • Oncology Knowledge: Experience with Multiple Myeloma is essential
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Customer Focus: Proven ability to assess and understand the challenges and educational needs of stakeholders within the assigned geography
  • Presentation Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in in-person and virtual presentations and engagement
  • Clinical Acumen: Superior clinical skills with the ability to navigate a complex and dynamic environment
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to effectively work with internal teams and external customers
  • Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to identify critical tasks and adjust priorities to meet organizational goals
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess situations and adapt to challenges
  • Travel: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Track Record: Proven history of achieving organizational and personal objectives
  • Administrative Skills: Ability to perform administrative tasks accurately and timely
