Senior Clinical Nurse Educator

This position is responsible for overseeing training initiatives, formulating relevant objectives, proposing policy changes, and assessing educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizes a proactive approach to design, implement, coordinate, and assess educational and clinical training experiences.
- Engages with three primary groups: patients and families, nursing staff, and healthcare organizations.
- Provides clinical guidance and serves as a mentor, facilitating the integration of skills and knowledge into practical applications.
- Engages in various roles including direct patient care, consultation, advocacy, teaching, research, and leadership development.
Qualifications
- A minimum of four years of clinical nursing experience is essential.
- Must possess a valid Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Certification as an AHA ECC Instructor for BLS is required within six months of employment; ACLS and/or PALS certifications are preferred.
