PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of the Residential Services Supervisor role is to oversee all facets of the Adult Rehabilitation Program (ARP) residence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following outlines the essential responsibilities associated with this position:

1. Enforce residence regulations and ensure the overall safety of the ARP during nighttime and early morning hours.

2. Provide crisis intervention support to residents as needed, and contact the Program Director or Corps Officer(s) during emergencies.

3. Organize and supervise recreational activities for residents, both within the ARP and in the community.

4. Conduct scheduled bed checks to ensure compliance with residence policies.

5. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the residential facility.

6. Monitor activities in communal areas, including the canteen and day rooms, particularly when the Kitchen Coordinator is unavailable.

7. Administer random and routine drug and alcohol screenings for residents.

8. Uphold The Salvation Army's policies regarding resident conduct and confidentiality as mandated by law.

9. Document any violations of ARP policies and house rules, reporting these to the Program Staff or relevant department officials each morning.

10. Keep an accurate medication log for all residents.

11. Manage medication distribution during scheduled med-calls, adhering to ARP facility policies and physician directives.

12. Provide updated schedules for activities, meetings, and Chapel services for residents.

13. Conduct orientation sessions for all new residents.

14. Attend and engage in all required meetings with the Program Director and/or Corps Officer(s).

15. Distribute daily reports, statistics, and gratuities to various administrative departments.

16. Oversee in-house classes and meetings.

17. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Administrator.

18. Transport residents to external activities and meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Must possess a valid California Class C Driver License and have the ability to operate a Salvation Army vehicle.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Completion of The Salvation Army vehicle training course is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to utilize near vision for tasks at 20 inches or less, as well as far vision for distances of 20 feet or more, including depth perception for spatial judgment.

Demonstrate understanding and adherence to company safety protocols.

Represent The Salvation Army in a professional and positive manner.
