DigitalPath stands as a premier Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP), dedicated to delivering internet connectivity to rural areas and essential fire response networks across California. Our goal is to enhance service quality for customers often overlooked by traditional cable providers.

As the Field Operations Supervisor, you will be instrumental in embodying DigitalPath's core principles, setting a commendable and professional standard while effectively conveying the company's ethos to your team. You will serve as the vital connection between field personnel and management, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with the company's objectives. Your responsibilities will include coordinating team efforts, from customer installations to service requests and site evaluations, ensuring all tasks are executed proficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of Field Installer Technicians, providing support, training, and ensuring project completion.
  • Manage morning operations to ensure timely deployment of teams to the field.
  • Ensure proper return and organization of equipment at the end of shifts, maintaining standards.
  • Train new employees in field operations, policies, and safety protocols.
  • Utilize fleet management tools for vehicle maintenance scheduling.
  • Report and document safety incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate on scheduling adjustments to optimize costs.
  • Engage with customers to address escalated concerns.
  • Accurately manage employee timecards.
  • Oversee inventory for field personnel and remote locations.
  • Ensure remote storage facilities meet company standards.
  • Manage travel funds for employee duties.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Consistently attend work as scheduled.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties:
  • Supervise and coordinate work schedules for direct reports.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency in departmental operations.
  • Lead communication during emergencies and incidents.
  • Evaluate and review performance of direct reports fairly and timely.
  • Collaborate with management and HR on personnel decisions.
  • Participate in confidential investigations as necessary.
  • Coordinate training and certification for Field Technicians.
  • Address performance issues and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Onboard and train new hires within the team.
  • Track attendance and scheduling concerns for assigned employees.
  • Resolve employee conflicts and escalate when necessary.
  • Coordinate with HR and Payroll for cross-functional needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies among team members.
  • Validate employee timecards accurately and promptly.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in wireless installation for residential and business clients.
  • Preferred 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in Office 365 and related applications.
  • Must adhere to safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
