Position Summary

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing health, safety, and facility management initiatives across the organization. This position collaborates with various departments to create, execute, and ensure adherence to Lulus' health, safety, and risk management protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. The EHS Supervisor will also oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and collaborate with management to manage operational costs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

EHS & Safety
  • Implement and uphold Lulus' Loss Prevention and Safety training policies, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain adherence to EHS policies.
  • Prepare monthly compliance and performance reports related to health, safety, and environmental systems.
  • Facilitate routine hazard assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Lead communication and coordination efforts with department heads to promote continuous safety improvements.
  • Work alongside Human Resources to maintain accurate OSHA 300 logs.
  • Regularly update and enhance the Emergency Action Plan.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify departmental safety needs and training requirements.
  • Assist Human Resources in managing the Workers Compensation process and ensuring compliance with injury documentation.
Facilities Management
  • Supervise the daily operations of the facilities team.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for safe and efficient building operations.
  • Oversee the repair and preventative maintenance of essential facility equipment.
  • Manage the Access Control System and ensure compliance with security best practices.
  • Source and manage relationships with local vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support company initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations, warehouse management, logistics, safety, or facilities management.
  • 2+ years of experience in project or program management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to implement new initiatives across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in occupational health, safety, or a related field.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Current OSHA Certification.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and process improvement methodologies.
