OVERVIEW:

The Nursing Manager, under the guidance of the Director of Surgical Services, is accountable for the comprehensive coordination and oversight of daily unit operations. This role involves engaging in program development and enhancing unit performance. The Nursing Manager may also deliver direct patient care and provide education to patients, families, students, and nursing personnel. Responsibilities include executing assignments effectively to ensure success in financial management, human resources, leadership, quality, and operational management objectives. The Nursing Manager exemplifies the core values of Trice Healthcare Staffing and serves as a role model for fellow employees.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:


• Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience in Surgical Services (Required)


• At least one year of experience as a perioperative charge nurse (Required)


• Recent management experience is preferred (Desired)


• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred (Desired)


• Active membership in a professional organization and participation in conferences focused on management and supervision of staff (Desired)

MANDATORY LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:


• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing (Required)


• Current CPR certification (Required)


• Current ACLS certification (Required)


• Current PALS certification (to be obtained within 6 months of hire) (Required)


• Specialty Certification related to Surgical Services (CNOR) is preferred (Desired)
