Sterile Processing Specialist

Position Information
The Sterile Processing Tech II is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment. This includes inspecting decontamination equipment, cart washers, and various sterilizers to ensure they are functioning according to manufacturer's specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Decontamination of medical instruments and equipment
- Inspection of decontamination equipment, cart washers, and sterilizers
- Assembly and packaging of sterilized instruments
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer's guidelines
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in sterile processing
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician, or Certified Surgical Technologist
Work Schedule
This role requires working every weekend, with a schedule of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00pm-7:00am. Additional hours may be required as needed.
