Salary Range: $50k - $65k

Role Expectations

Jack's Abby Brewing is seeking a dedicated sales representative to enhance our presence in the craft beer market. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who possesses a passion for craft beer and a drive to foster relationships within the industry. The successful candidate will operate primarily in the Massachusetts region, focusing on retail sales of our esteemed brewery brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with retail account managers, buyers, and consumers to provide insights about our products.
  • Secure commitments from buyers and relay orders to the appropriate distributor representatives.
  • Showcase our brewery's offerings at various tastings and promotional events.
  • Ensure effective product placement on shelves and in coolers.
  • Monitor product freshness in the market.
  • Enhance product visibility by competing for optimal shelf space and tap handle placements.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with distributor representatives and team leaders regarding market activities.
  • Identify and report market opportunities.
  • Manage sales processes, pursue new business, and cultivate long-term client relationships with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with management and distribution partners to achieve sales targets.
  • Contribute to the overall sales strategy and goal-setting for the region.
  • Thoroughly document all sales activities.
  • Organize and participate in events such as tap takeovers and in-store tastings.
  • Oversee and coordinate a small team of Brand Ambassadors.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload independently.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Experience in the craft beer sector is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Background in sales or customer service is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work during various hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or similar applications.
  • Understanding of craft beer and its market dynamics.
  • Bilingual capabilities in Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Ability to travel extensively as required.
Work Environment
  • This position is fully remote.
  • Frequent travel to visit accounts across a wide territory is essential, alongside remote communication.
