Position: Sales Operations Manager

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
The Sales Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily technical functions of our wholesale sales operations. This position serves as a crucial link for essential information flow between sales representatives, wholesalers, and production teams. Key responsibilities include managing state-level compliance across our distribution network and facilitating new product setups with wholesalers and technology platforms, conducting volume forecasts, and overseeing market-level objectives and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Management and Compliance:
- Manage the complete lifecycle of new product operations:
- Ensure accurate product setup in internal systems.
- Coordinate with marketing and production departments to guarantee timely submission of artwork and receipt of packaging materials.
- Handle TTB Label registrations and state-level label registrations.
- Oversee the wholesaler new item process and maintain the IRI database.
- Facilitate the preparation of chain new item processes and coordinate initial production dates.
- Ensure wholesalers are ordering new products to meet launch timelines.
- Maintain systems data for existing products.
- Manage Product Release Master Files:
- Ensure appropriate allocation of non-core/year-round brands.
- Coordinate with production to meet release dates.
- Confirm allocations with wholesalers prior to production.
Order and Inventory Management:
- Conduct weekly inventory reviews of wholesalers and warehouse by product and SKU.
- Review sales orders to maintain targeted inventory levels and ensure necessary products are included.
- Maintain pricing consistency between invoicing systems and wholesaler systems.
- Evaluate production schedules to ensure alignment with depletion forecasts.
Reporting:
- Provide actionable depletion forecasts to production scheduling.
- Develop and maintain management-level dashboards for quick inventory overviews.
- Prepare reports comparing actual depletions to budgeted figures and revenue forecasts.
- Complete monthly reporting for out-of-state excise taxes.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales operations or logistics.
- Proven leadership skills with a history of building strong working relationships.
- Proficiency with various computer systems.
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Physical tasks may include climbing stairs and lifting heavy objects.
- Work environment may vary in temperature and noise levels.
- Must be able to safely handle chemicals used in the brewing process.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and more with assistance.
