Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Relationship Banker to join our team at Credit Union 1. As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial and account services to our members, while also identifying opportunities to grow our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates, ensuring a positive and productive work culture.
  • Teller Duties: Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Account Management: Assist members with opening and closing accounts, and address and resolve member problems, inquiries, or complaints.
  • Loan Services: Assist applicants with consumer and mortgage loan applications and questions, explaining loan programs, options, and requirements.
  • Sales and Business Development: Promote the credit union's products and services based on member need and identifying opportunities, actively participating in developing new business for the credit union.
  • Representative: Represent the credit union in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in all areas.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Stay abreast of emerging financial trends to better meet members' needs, maintaining knowledge of all Credit Union 1 products, services, procedures, and policy and procedural changes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Good figure aptitude, attention to detail, professional manner and appearance, experience with the public, good communication and member service skills, and proven sales experience or abilities.
