As a Sales Engineer for Automation Solutions, your key responsibilities will include:
- Actively seeking, developing, and securing new business opportunities within assigned territories or accounts.
- Collaborating with existing clients to foster growth and identify new prospects.
- Identifying and targeting potential clients, particularly engineers and decision-makers, to explore new avenues.
- Understanding clients' business objectives, goals, and manufacturing processes to tailor our solutions to their needs.
- Creating and executing strategies to ensure a continuous flow of new opportunities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales, particularly with a focus on engineers and upper management.
- Strong ability to prospect and generate new business.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships.
- Capability to work creatively, independently, and collaboratively within a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial technology, with an emphasis on robotics and/or automation technology is required.
- Alternatively, an associate degree in a related technical field, demonstrating strong mechanical/technical skills and 3-5 years of technical sales experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
