The Development team is currently on the lookout for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our operations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Conduct both routine and advanced maintenance on various equipment and facilities.
  • Execute the preventative maintenance schedule for company machinery, which includes electrical systems, mechanical components, control devices, instrumentation, welding tasks, motor replacements, and robotics repairs.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to manage equipment downtime for essential repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee, direct, and allocate all maintenance tasks at the site.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and completion of equipment inspections during peak and off-peak seasons.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team, site leadership, and external contractors.
  • Establish a structured work order schedule to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Manage the repair budget and support the annual repair calendar.
  • Maintain vendor relationships with contractors specializing in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services.
  • Ensure adherence to site-specific permits for maintenance work in critical areas.
  • Develop and implement a grounds maintenance program in coordination with site leadership.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and parts inventory.
  • Formulate a standardized method for the adjustment and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in creating a comprehensive reporting system to collect and analyze preventative maintenance data, enhancing the understanding of equipment longevity.
  • Uphold compliance with site health, safety, and environmental protocols as well as Syngenta's policies and employee conduct standards.
  • Participate as a member of the Site Safety Committee.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
