Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of our facilities and equipment.
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with our equipment and facilities.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and materials to ensure that all maintenance activities are properly supported.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that maintenance activities are properly coordinated and executed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in maintenance management or a related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues; strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license required; applicable certifications (e.g. OSHA, EPA) preferred.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
- Required to talk and/or hear in an office and industrial setting (noise level is high).
- Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
