Job Overview

New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) is on the lookout for a skilled and knowledgeable Bank Loan Operations Representative to enhance our operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities and adept conflict resolution skills, thriving in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of inquiries through phone and email communications.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by adhering to established standards, ensuring accurate and timely responses to all inquiries, and effectively addressing complaints as per defined protocols.
  • Support the loan servicing process from initiation to closure.
  • Facilitate payments to private mortgage insurance (PMI) companies, review loans with PMI, and recommend cancellation of coverage when appropriate.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of loan collateral to confirm that applicable holds are enforced.
  • Oversee the tracking of motor vehicle titles, UCCs, and recorded mortgages to ensure proper lien perfection, along with performing necessary core system maintenance.
  • Review loan billing statements and notices as needed.
  • Assist in the quality control review of imaged loan documents as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in personal computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with relevant loan regulations.
  • Possess an analytical mindset for effective problem-solving.
  • Experience with core operating systems is essential, with a preference for Jack Henry Silverlake.
