Key Responsibilities:


• Initiate, commission, and troubleshoot processes, machinery, and control systems.


• Ensure that the complete treatment system and all associated equipment function according to design specifications.


• Evaluate and provide guidance on P&IDs, PFDs, installation details, O&M manuals, design standards, engineering records, and preventative maintenance procedures for facilities.


• Validate and enhance trending and SCADA monitoring systems, focusing on metrics such as MLSS, pH, sludge age/solids retention time, COD/BOD removal efficiency, flow, DO, temperature, and more.


• Operate, configure, and calibrate equipment including VFDs, sensors, chemical injection systems, PLCs, SCADA, and flowmeters.


• Conduct maintenance and calibration tasks.


• Perform analytical testing, including COD, MLSS, conductivity, turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, O2, SDI, TOC, along with various other site-specific testing requirements.


• Execute troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Qualifications:


• Willingness to travel 50-90% of the time.


• A minimum of 4 years of operational experience in industrial or municipal water or wastewater treatment facilities.


• Experience in the operation and optimization of wastewater treatment plants, preferably within the food and beverage or water and wastewater sectors.


• Proficient in reading P&IDs and PFDs.


• Strong understanding of MBR and RO unit maintenance and operation.


• Previous experience with Ignition, Siemens, and/or Allen-Bradley automation systems.


• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation design.


• Familiarity with the operation of packaged/skidded equipment, process equipment, process controls, instrumentation, and best practices in wastewater treatment.


• Experience with laboratory equipment, water quality testing, and data collection.
