Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients or potential clients to promote the Bank's offerings, ensuring their needs are met while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Build and sustain a network of developers, realtors, attorneys, accountants, and other influential referral sources.
- Market and cross-promote the Bank's loan products and services using approved marketing materials.
- Originate new mortgage and home equity loans, gathering all necessary information and documentation from clients.
- Utilize various systems and applications to navigate products and recommend effective solutions from both inbound and outbound sales leads.
- Skillfully design lending products with complementary offerings and pricing that lead to successful client sales.
- Demonstrate consistent sales performance in terms of volume or units over time.
- Stay updated on various loan options and confidently interview applicants to evaluate their loan needs.
- Advise applicants on the most suitable options for their circumstances.
- Ensure all required disclosures are communicated to clients, including necessary loan fees and costs.
- Provide clients with progress updates and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior banking experience is essential.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Full competency in business mathematics and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to analyze and interpret findings and results, drawing logical conclusions in daily responsibilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing procedures, regulations, job assignments, technological advancements, and new equipment.
- Proven track record of being a positive team member in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid NMLS registration.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based software applications.
