Compensation: Hourly wage is negotiable based on experience, with a starting rate of $25.00 for the Loan Operations Specialist role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of inquiries through phone and email communication.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by adhering to established standards and providing timely, accurate responses to all inquiries.
  • Assist in the loan servicing process from initiation to completion.
  • Process payments to private mortgage insurance (PMI) companies and evaluate loans with PMI for potential cancellation.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of loan collateral to ensure proper holds are maintained.
  • Monitor motor vehicle titles, UCCs, and recorded mortgages to confirm perfected liens, performing necessary system maintenance.
  • Review loan billing statements and notices as required.
  • Support quality control reviews of imaged loan documents as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in personal computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with loan regulations is essential.
  • Analytical skills for effective problem-solving are required.
  • Experience with core operating systems is necessary; familiarity with Jack Henry Silverlake is preferred.
