We are looking for a committed and skilled Cleaning Operations Supervisor to manage our cleaning and maintenance personnel. Compensation: $18.50/hr
The listed pay represents the hourly range or rate for this role. Actual offers will differ based on the candidate's experience, skills, capabilities, geographic location, and alignment with market trends.
Retirement Plan: - Eligibility for personal contributions begins on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Eligibility for the company match starts on the first of the month after six months of employment. The company matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions dollar for dollar for the first 3%. For the subsequent 2%, the company contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Both your contributions and the match are immediately vested.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of janitorial staff to guarantee that all areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with company standards.
- Plan and allocate cleaning assignments, ensuring sufficient coverage and efficient resource utilization.
- Train and onboard new janitorial personnel, offering guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to confirm cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleaning services.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, and maintenance concerns.
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Assist with cleaning tasks as needed, particularly during peak demand periods.
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in janitorial services or facilities management is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience as a janitorial supervisor or in a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical stamina and the capability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with scheduling software and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices and sustainability initiatives.
