Job Overview

The Maintenance Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the repair and upkeep of machinery and facilities. This role involves collaborating with other supervisors to ensure efficient operations and timely service delivery. The Maintenance Operations Supervisor will work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator to achieve operational excellence.

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on defective or aging equipment.
  • Identify and rectify malfunctions in machinery and buildings.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and manage work orders for all equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment status, including maintenance schedules and work orders.
  • Perform repairs related to industrial plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Adhere to established guidelines and procedures during maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Respond promptly to safety concerns and improvement requests.
  • Delegate tasks and provide technical guidance for resolving complex issues.
  • Ensure quality control by maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and identifying efficiency opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong background in mechanical maintenance.
  • Demonstrated history of reliable performance.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in developing personnel and implementing effective changes.
  • Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
  • Must successfully complete a drug screening and background investigation.
Physical Requirements
  • Role involves physical activities such as stooping, lifting, pushing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
  • Work environments may experience extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is required.
  • Must be comfortable working with hazardous materials.
