Student Support Representative

At Moraine Park Technical College, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our Student Services team as a Student Support Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide admissions, registration, and records support to students, including processing semester registrations and withdrawals, and resolving issues with student accounts.
  • Offer financial aid support, including processing financial aid paperwork and troubleshooting issues with student financial aid.
  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of student services.
  • Operate and provide backup assistance to the switchboard operators, ensuring seamless communication and paging systems.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Two years of customer service or related experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Office 365, and experience with ERP/student information systems, preferably Banner.
