Role SummaryThe Guest Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the Front Desk operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests as they navigate through the hotel. This position requires expertise in brand standards related to check-in and check-out processes, as well as a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations. A strong commitment to guest service and a culture of hospitality is essential, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Leading by example, the Supervisor provides guidance and support to the team.
Work ScheduleWe are looking for candidates with both part-time and full-time availability, including weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and serve all guests efficiently and courteously, adhering to brand standards.
- Ensure that necessary Front Desk supplies are available to meet guest needs.
- Act as the primary management contact for guest concerns or issues.
- Maintain compliance with Front Office quality standards and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Oversee financial transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to property guidelines.
- Manage daily sales preparation and oversight during both day and night shifts.
- Coordinate with other departments to enhance communication and guest satisfaction.
- Take ownership of desk operations, striving to exceed guest expectations.
- Inspire and lead the team effectively.
- Serve as Manager on Duty, supervising overall operations.
- Provide assistance in various areas as needed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospitality environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Effective communication skills in a multilingual setting.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in computer accounting programs, with strong math and budget analysis skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel services and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all levels.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
