Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. Your duties will include participating in the implementation of nursing care plans, obtaining and recording patient information, and assisting with mobility and daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the implementation of nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed nurse.
  • Obtain and record initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care.
  • Assist with mobility and daily living activities, including transferring patients and assisting with discharges.
  • Serve as Monitor/Telemetry Tech for the unit as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Compensation and Benefits
