Oshkosh Vocational Tennessee is looking for a skilled Training and Development Coordinator to enhance their team. This role is essential in creating and executing training initiatives for employees, contributing to the establishment of a new operational site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and present educational materials and training sessions on diverse subjects
  • Evaluate training needs throughout the organization
  • Work closely with Production supervisors to identify training gaps
  • Create digital learning content and facilitate Instructor-Led Training sessions
  • Investigate and suggest external training options
  • Engage in special corporate and organizational development projects
  • Provide on-the-job training and orientation for new employees
  • Maintain documentation standards and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist in budget planning and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints
  • Guarantee adherence to compliance and maintain records within the Learning Management System

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Over seven years of experience in Training and Development or a related discipline
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Training, Education, or Human Resources, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of adult learning principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Previous experience in program design and curriculum creation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro
