Job Overview

The Project Accountant is a key member of our financial operations team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of project financials. This includes managing AIA contract progress billings, tracking incoming invoices, and ensuring all payments are processed and posted accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Processing: Manage AIA contract progress billings, track incoming invoices, and ensure all payments are processed and posted accurately.
  • Communication: Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project management team to ensure financial procedures are on track.
  • Reporting: Participate in the job close-out/review process by printing reports, reviewing, and confirming accuracy.
  • Accounts Receivable: Match AIA progress billings to construction contracts and client billing instructions.
  • Accounts Payable: Receive, enter, and process incoming invoices, ensuring all invoices are addressed and accurately processed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounting role in the construction industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent data entry skills, proficiency in MS Office products, and ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
