Job Overview
As a valued member of our team, the Customer Service Associate will play a crucial role in assisting fellow homebrewers through various communication channels, including email and LiveChat. This position offers a unique opportunity to address inquiries, resolve challenges, and recommend products that enhance the brewing experience. Above all, you will contribute to fostering a passion for brewing as a lifelong pursuit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and LiveChat.
- Demonstrating expertise in our product offerings and technology to assist customers in finding suitable items for their brewing needs.
- Providing insightful brewing advice and recommendations to enhance customer knowledge.
- Upholding customer trust and safeguarding operations by maintaining confidentiality of information.
- Supporting warehouse fulfillment tasks as required.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, along with BJCP or Cicerone certification, is preferred. A minimum of one year of relevant experience or training in beer brewing or winemaking is advantageous. Familiarity with basic formulas and standard measurements used in brewing is essential. Candidates should possess the ability to work with data and perform fundamental calculations, as well as experience with computer systems and telecommunication devices in a professional environment.
